The major side effect of Aspirin, a coomon drug, is gastro-intestinal damage. In order to over come this we are trying to prepare a prodrug of Aspirin attached with nitric oxide donor moiety which could in turn help to proect intestine from the damage with its nitric oxide donating capability.
